Install & haul-away
Most installs take 2–4 hours. We install the new unit, test it, walk you through it, and haul the old one away.
How every job flows: you call, text, or send the form → we confirm your install time at the published flat rate → a vetted local installer does the work → your old unit is hauled away.
Step 1 — Call, text, or send the form
Tell us what's happening: no hot water, a leaking tank, or an old unit you want gone before it fails. It helps to know your tank's size (usually 40 or 50 gallons), whether it's gas or electric, and where it sits — basement, garage, or closet. Don't know? No problem, we'll figure it out with you.
Step 2 — Your price is already set
There's no quote step for a standard install. The flat rate is published — $2,000 installed for a 40-gallon tank, $2,100 installed for a 50-gallon — so we just confirm your tank size and lock in your install time. No-hot-water and leaking-tank emergencies get priority for the earliest available slot. The price covers the new unit, installation, the permit, and haul-away of your old water heater. If your setup needs a code-required extra, that's quoted up front, before we start — never after.
Step 3 — Install day
A vetted local installer — licensed and insured — arrives in the scheduled window. Here's what a typical install looks like:
- Shut off & drain — water and gas/electric to the old unit are turned off and the tank is drained.
- Swap the unit — the old tank comes out and the new one is set, leveled, and connected.
- Fill, light & test — the new tank is filled, fired up, and checked for leaks and proper operation.
- Walkthrough — we show you the shut-off valves, temperature setting, and what to watch for.
- Haul-away — your old unit leaves with us. Most like-for-like installs take 2–4 hours total.
After the install
Your job is backed by a warranty on labor plus the manufacturer's warranty on the tank, and the permit inspection is handled as part of the job. If anything doesn't seem right, call us at (636) 336-2866 and we'll make it right.
